About Me

Hi, I'm Billy.

Or you may know me by my trail name, "Wahoo", which I earned on my 2019 thru hike of the Appalachian Trail.

Since then I've garnered a couple of trail running records & sponsorships to my name with my love for the outdoors fueling my drive in the sport.

My greatest passion, however, lies in capturing the journey through the lens of my camera.

I've spent years of my youth living out of a tent and that deep rooted connection to the wilderness is a constant thread throughout my work.

After leaving my desk job in 2019 to achieve my dream of hiking the Appalachian Trail, I've worked as a wildland firefighter in Arizona, a wilderness therapy guide in Utah, catamaran boat crew on Kauai, snowboard instructor in Colorado, and a bartender in New Zealand.

These travels are what inspired me to purchase my first camera and my collection has only grown.

After spending a year living in New Zealand, I'm now based in Whitefish , Montana working as a photographer, trail runner, and DJ.
